Winter Pride is renowned for fun both on and off the mountain, and once you've come once, you are bound to want to come back again.
Boasting 10 days and over 40 events, the dates for 2021 are set for Friday 27 August to Sunday 5 September - 2 full weekends and a lot of fun in between.
Lots of choices for you all, so get out there and have fun.
We can't wait to have you all along.
As always, the Pride Party Series is one of the highlights of our week-long festival. A great place to meet new people and old friends.
This year we are planning on keeping some of our old favourites and increasing some venue sizes so that more people can get tickets to our parties. Our Final Party will be an extravagant end to the week, with performers and DJs, followed closely in popularity by the Leather and Lace Party.
SKYCITY will be hosting a range of comedy and games nights throughout the week.
We are also planning on having a MSM and a WLW events during the week, as well as our usual Trans and Allies Cocktail event.
If you are interested in helping run an event for a specific "rainbow" minority, please feel free to reach out to us and we can explore possibilities on how we can make something work.
We are going to have an even more entertaining Qeenstown's Got Talent / Drag Wars evening after the success of 2020, keeping this event accessible to a wider audience in terms of cost, and we will once again showcase a shortlist of our best talent - volunteers and professionals.
Following on from the success of 2018, 2019 and 2020, Après ski will be each evening at Smiths Craft Beer House - a real Pride Bar, with DJ's, good company and friendly staff.
If you want to meet new people outside of parties, we are once again going to have some pre-booked diners at the Grille and the some of our other supprting restaurants - you choose and you book - and there should be plenty of other Winter Pride guests there for you to meet and feel at home with.
How to access eventsThe Winter Pride festival moves the fun around the mountains over the week, so make sure that you join us on the right mountain each day - can't wait to see you there. Most days have a theme on the mountain and there are charity fundraising races, DJ areas and "hosted" groups.
If you are unfamiliar with how the different mountains work: Cardrona and Treble Cone are separate mountains from the NZSki mountains (Coronet and The Remarkables). You will need to buy the correct passes for the mountians you want to go to. You can't use a Cardrona pass, for instance, on Remarkables, or visa versa. So do plan this carefully.
Cardrona and Treble Cone have shared passes.
The Remarkabales and Coronet Peak have shared passes.
