All events are being planned with COVID Alert Levels in mind. This is a blueprint of our aspirational plan.
At this point, only patrons will be able to attend the festival's ticketed events. See "Accessing events at Winter Pride - 4 easy steps!" for more information.
A few key words and definitions to help you understand: event start times, if you have a ticket, if you should buy an add on...
Most importantly, tickets reserve ticket holders access only at the beginning of events during the "ticket window" time.
For event times and access below all tickets have a "ticket window" for their use. This window is the time that a ticket will guarantee entry into an event. After the "ticket window" is closed, a revolving door policy will be used. If you have a ticket and arrive after the "ticket window" is closed, you will be prioritised according to the revolving door policy. Arrival after the "ticket window" is closed forfeits a ticket holder's guaranteeed entry.
"Revolving Door" is free access to any patrons (capacity allowing) in the following priority order: first, "re-entry" allows entry to anyone who has already been wrist banded as having entered the event, then Maxi patrons, followed by Mini patrons, then any ticket holders who arrived after the ticket "window" closed, followed by Long Weekender then Enabling Patrons. Winter Pride reserves the right to sell door sales if there is capacity to an event and no patrons are waiting for revolving door access at the time of the sale.
Add-ons refer to extra bookings and tickets a patron would like to attend for additonal events to the ones they got through the registration process. To recap if you have registered and paid as a:
Remember, revolving door access is capacity dependent if you haven't booked or didn't include the event in your event registration survey (Maxi, Mini and Longweekender Patrons only).
How to access eventsMTN
The Winter Pride festival moves the fun around the mountains over the week, so make sure that you join us on the right mountain each day - can't wait to see you there. Most days have a theme on the mountain and there are charity fundraising races, DJ areas and "hosted" groups.
If you are unfamiliar with how the different mountains work: Cardrona and Treble Cone are separate mountains from the NZSki mountains (Coronet and The Remarkables). You will need to buy the correct passes for the mountians you want to go to. You can't use a Cardrona pass, for instance, on Remarkables, or visa versa. So do plan this carefully.
Cardrona and Treble Cone have shared passes.
The Remarkabales and Coronet Peak have shared passes.
